A Temperature Model and Numerical Simulation of Sunlight in a Greenhouse

Based on the main factors of the optical model in a greenhouse-ridge height,incident surface,geographic latitude,orientation,Sunshine times,back wall thickness,etc.a mathematical temperature model of a sunlit greenhouse was developed,using the calorie equilibrium theories of inside and outside heat exchange of the greenhouse.Corresponding Matlab 6.0 programs were deployed to simulate and analyze the effect of the parameters above.Comparing the results to real temperatures,the relative mean error is 5.56%,which indicates that the mathematical model can be used in greenhouse design.
