Study on the Extracting,Transparencing and Refining of Inulin

WU Hong-tea,SUN Xiao-qinb,LIU Duan-chaob(Yangtze University,a.College of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering;b.College of Life Science,Jingzhou 434025,Hubei,China)  
The extraction technique of inulin had been studied in this article by taking the dry Jerusalem artichoke as raw material.The results of the experiment showed that the optimal process conditions were 1:22 of Jerusalem artichoke and water at 80℃ for 50min,and the extract ratio of Inulin was 53.8%.Using Ca(OH)2-phosphoric acid treatment at 80℃ and keeping the temperature for 15min(pH=13),the lose of the total inulin was little and miscellaneous was finshed completely.Adding 3% carbon and diatomite and treating at 80℃ and keeping the temperature for 15min(pH=7.0),the transparency was more than 93%,the content of total suger was 98.92%,the extract ratio of inulin was 42.3%.
