Static Absorption of Walnut shells to Mn~(2+) in Simulated Micro-polluted Water

The static adsorption of walnut shell powder from Xinjiang to Mn2+ was studied in this paper.The adsorption rate of the walnut shell powder to Mn2+ in 50 mL 2 mg/L Mn micro-polluted water could be up to 89.74%when the powder diameter was 1.0~1.6 mm,the adsorbent dosage was 2.0 g,the medium pH was 7.0,and the adsorption time was about 300 minutes.The adsorption amount raised with the increasing of system temperature.And the Freundlich model could reflect the adsorption process better than Langmuir model.
