Hydrological Characteristic Analysis of Dongjiang Lake Watershed Based on GIS and DEM

Dongjiang lake is the first level drinking water with the largest water storage in Hunan province,is listed as the National 4A level scenic area.Its tourism resources are mainly composed of land scape,wetlands and natural landscape.To preserve the wetlands in Dongjiang lake,this thesis gave out a hydrological simulation analysis of the whole lake basin in Zixing city based on the technology of DEM and GIS.It had extracted such hydrological features as the flow direction,flow amount,flow path,flow net and drainage basin.With the ArcGIS,the sub basins of Dongjiang lake were divided,eventually contributing to the digital basins of Dongjiang lake.Thus a data platform for the research on environment around Dongjiang lake was provided.
