Research on the Coordination Coefficient of the Intensiveness of Urban Land Use and Urbanization——A Case of Wuhan Urban Agglomeration

Taking Wuhan Urban Agglomeration as an example,set up evaluation systems of the urban land intensive use and urbanization level. The global principal component analysis(GPCA) and the model of system's relative state development degree has adopted. GPCA is used to evaluate urban land intensive use and urbanization level from 2005 to 2014. And the model of system's relative state development degree is used to measure the coordination degree between the two,finally analyze the change characteristics in the time and space dimensions. The results declare that the cities in Wuhan Urban Agglomeration whose most period after 2008 is in coordination stage. Looking from the time axis, the coordination coefficient of the intensiveness of urban land use and urbanization in Wuhan,Huangshi,Xiaogan,Qianjiang generally tends to increase year by year. However,it's obvious that cities' coordination coefficient trend an irregular change and is without obvious characteristics of spatial clusters.
