Treatment of the Wastewater from Active Dyestuff Production by Microelectrolysis-Catalyzed Oxidation-Flyash Adsorption Processes

Using microeleccrolysis catalyzed oxidation flyash absorption processes to treat the wastewater discharged from active dyestuff production has been conducted.The results of the treatment show that,when influent COD is 2158~5820 mg/L and colourity is 8600~25000 times,the effluent COD is 108~188 mg/L and colourity is 10~30 times,therefore,95.0%~96.8% of COD removal rate and 99.9% of decolorization rate are reached respectively.The effluent quality index could come up to second level standard of dyestuff production in 《Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard》GB8978 1996.
