Hand Image in Toni Morrison's Novel Love and the Love Theme Interpretation

Nobel Prize Winner Toni Morrison is a contemporary American black female novelist.Her eighth novel Love interrogates a particular period of black history and its attendant cultural issues.With the clue of Dead Cosey's impact on his women,on the basis of the love theme,the novel tells a story webbed with love and hatred.Symbolism is one of forceful writing techniques in the novel,with black history and deep connotation of the love theme.In the novel,hand image is endowed with special meaning.Morrison reveals the love theme in the black cultural context and depicts characters,experience,conflicts and relationships vividly by means of description of different aspects of hand image.
