Objective:To explore the regulation effect of quercetin on cellular immunology.Methods:①30 Kunming mice were divided into three groups:control, low dose and high dose group. The experimental animals were treated with quercetin (50mg/kg and 100mg/kg for low dose and high dose groups respectively) and normal saline (10ml/kg for control group) daily with peritoneal. injection for 5 days. And then the proliferation of splenic lymphocytes induced by ConA and killing effect of natural killing(NK) cell were examined by 3 HTdR uptake test and 3 HTdR release test in vitro respectively. The C3b receptor of red blood cell(RBC) was assayed by C3b rosette test;②To study the effects of quercetin on the activity of IL2,48 Wistar rats were grouped and treated with the same way as the Kunming mice.IL2 activity induced by ConA was measured by 3 HTdR uptake test. Results:Killing effect of NK cell, proliferation of splenic lymphocytes and RBC C3b receptor activity were all significantly increased after quercetin treatment. In addition, quercetin could increase IL2 activity and markedly antagonise the immunosuppresive effect induced by prednisolone. Conclusion:Qurecetin has promoting effect on cellular immunology.
