《Synthetic Fiber in China》 1992-01

Shao Huili, Huang Bin. Tang Jianzon and Hu Xuechao (China Textile University)  
PET resin of super-high molecular weight ([η]1.5) is synthetized by adopting technology of stage solid-state polymerization. The effect factors on rate of polymerization are studied include time and temperature of polymerization, size of chips, stirring speed and extent of vacuum etc. Mechanism of solid state polymerization is also discussed and a better technology of polymerization is set up.
