Analysis on 18 cases Postsurgical Gastroparesis Syndrome of Subtotal Gastrectimy

Objective: To study the causes,diagnosis and treatment of postsurgical gastroparesis syndrome(PGS) on subtotal gastrectomy.Method: We analyzed the datas of 18 cases PGS on subtotal gastrectomy.Result: The 18 patients with PGS after operation of 4~10 days.and 69% of them were cured during two weeks,all were cured within 35 days.Conclusion: PGS is a kind of gastric dynamic dysfunction which were mainly with delayed gastric emptying,It's easy to be misdiagnosis as mechanical obstruction.The basic diagnosis route is digestive tract radiography and gastroscopic diagnosis,most of them were cured with conservtive treatment.We'd better think carefully of operation again.
