Design of Fuzzy Controller and Simulation for Ship Speed

Xie Chengxiang Zeng Qinjun Zhou Yaoting (Dept.of Electronics & Information. East China Shipbuilding Institute.Zhenjiang.Jangsu. 212003, China)  
Studies the application of fuzzy control in ship speed and designs a fuzzy controller with intelligent integrate and differential. The simulation for a cargo ship in various disturbance shows that the fuzzy controller can adapt nonlinear, time varying parameters of ship model, effectively restrain the effect of the environment disturbance, assure the control accuracy, and have good robustness.
