State Prediction of Slagging on Coal-fired Boilers Based on Simulated Annealing Algorithms and Support Vector Machine

A support vector machine(SVM)-based model to predict the slagging state on coal-fired boilers is established,and parameters of the SVM model are optimized by simulated annealing algorithm(SAA) in order to obtain the best parameters.After adjustment of the experimental datum and optimization of the parameters,the optimized model is applied to predict the slagging state of 15 boilers.The result shows this method is feasible,and the SA-SVM model has achieved good predicting performance for the slagging state of the boilers.
