Comparison Study of Fusion Methods of GF-1 PAN and Landsat 8 Multi-spectral Images

Based on the high-resolution satellite GF-1 and the American Landsat satellite series Langdsat8 as the data source,according to the high resolution characteristic of high score and the multi-spectral characteristic of Landsat8,IHS fusion,PCA fusion,Brovey fusion,GS fusion,DWT fusion and A trous fusion were used to simulate the image fusion. The accuracy of the fusion image was evaluated by standard deviation,mean gradient,information entropy,correlation coefficient and degree of distortions. The results show that the six fusion methods can effectively improve the resolution of satellite images for the fusion of high score and Landsat8 image. Considering the spatial information retention,the spectral information fidelity and the visual effect,the A trous wavelet fusion method works best.
