The application of information entropy in subsurface fluid data processing

The Principle and method of information entropy is briefly introduced.The esgaped Radon in Babaoshan fault and the underground water-level data in Changliseismostation are processed.The results show that it is feasible to pick up seismic information with information entropy method.The entropy drop anomalies in escaped radon from Babaoshan fault are corresponding with earthquakes well.The information entropy picked respectively from daily mean values and 5-days-mean values of radon data both can provide some useful information,whereas the entropyanomalies from 5-days-mean values are more obvious.The processed results from underground water level data in Changli well show there will be some obvious entropy drop anomalies before and after earthquakes.The tendency changes in underground water have less affection to information entropy.
