Design of Nuclear Instrumentation System for Qinshan Phase II NPP Project

The design, procurement, installation and commissioning of Nuclear Instrumentation System(RPN) for Qinshan Phase II NPP Project are analyzed. The system and interface of this RPN is based on that for Daya Bay nuclear power plant, but the key technology is the up-to-date digital technical. This paper firstly describes briefly the RPN system , and reviews the process from preliminary design to final design, and then introduces the study of the prototype equipment and procurement of final equipment from Schneider. Finally, it presents the problems occurred in the installation and commissioning of the system.
