The Kinetics of Liquid Phase Dehydrogenation of 2-Butanol on Ni-Ultrafine Particle Catalyst

The kinetics of dehydrogenation of 2-butanol to butanone on Ni-Ultrafine particle catalyst has been studied. The results show that the activated catalysts have highly catalytic activity.Adsorption of reaction product Butanone on the catalyst surface was the main reason to decelerate the reaction. The effect has been described quantitatively by the equation. The reaction machanism was also discussed.
