Calculating of Withdrawal Resistance of Beam Blank Caster

WU Yi,WANG Qi-ping(School of Mechanical Engineering, Anhui University of Technology, Ma′anshan 243002, China)  
The calculating method of withdrawal resistance of beam blank caster is proposed. The beam blank is regarded as two slabs. Based on the elastic and creep properties of steel at casting temperature, the withdrawal resistance caused by leveling bulging and rolling friction of withdrawal rolls and hot steel is discussed. The result is satisfactory.
