Fatigue Crack Growth Rate of Rotor Steel under the Condition of Subcritical Temperature

Under the condition of different temperature between room temperature and subcritical temperature, the fatigue crack growth behavior of rotor steels (30Cr1Mo1V) was investigated with tests of these materials. The relation between fatigue crack propagation rate and temperature was set up under different temperatures. Fatigue crack propagation rate was used in superposition form of two logarithm, coefficient (n )in the Paris formula used in room temperature was in inverse proportion to temperature. General relations of fatigue crack growth rate, which is established in the paper, agree with experimental data.
