Calculation methods of gas resistance of supercharged boiler

Supercharged boilers suit the demand on heavy battleships' power plants. Analyses were done on the characteristics of gas flow in the flue, air distribution and connective tubes bank. Using numerical simulation on flow in some parts, and basic hydrodynamics theory, research was done on the gas resistance calculation in the flue, air distribution and connective tubes bank of a supercharged boiler. Consideration was also given to the widely accepted gas resistance calculation methods, relative parameters and plot in no-supercharged boilers designing. Gas resistance calculations on certain supercharged boilers prove the methods are credible.
