Effect of organic pollutant on regularity of streaming current

The experiment made with four kinds of polluted water in a semi-batch reactor indicated that the pollutants in water decreased the precision of streaming current control system,and the regu-larity of streaming current was related to the kind and concentration of pollutant.Moreover,for a giv-en type of pollutant water,the regularity of streaming current was strongly affected by the composition of the kind of water.However,the relationship between SC and coagulant dosage still existed under the experimental condition.And the effect was not noticeable when COD Mn of the water resource didn't exceed10mg /L,so the streaming current control method for coagulant dosage could be used in the water resource polluted by organic-pollutant.
