Redistribution of secondary earth stress produced by shield tunneling

With the songhuajiang tunnel to be built in Harbin as an example both optimization analysis and finite element numerical analysis are used to simulate different cases and site conditions,and the redistribution of second- ary earth stress produced by shield tunneling are studied through numerical simulating experiments to evaluate the influence of various factors on soil deformation and identify the most dangerous failure location beforehand.
