Mechanic behavior of wall soil and liner of underwater tunnel

For Songhua River tunnel to be buih in Harbin optimization of factors influencing the target function is adopted to ensure normal and safe work of the tunnel,and the finite element analysis is employed to simu- late the actual problem using the software of ANSYS,with nonlinearity of material and soil-liner interaction taken into consideration.The mechanic behavior of wall soil and liner of underwater tunnel are studied by a great lots of numerical simulation experiments and the location of the most dangerous failure is assessed before- hand,which provides some theoretical basis for determining the safety layer thickness of tunnel properly.
