The Development and Current Situation of Adolescent Self-identity

Adolescence is known as the period of rainstorm,or the second birth of oneself.As early as the 1970s,Erikson had put forward the concept of identity.He thought that the central task of adolescence was to develop self-identity.Identity formation and development are primarily in adolescence and early adulthood.Adolescence and college students are in the achievement more and more with age,but the states of self-identity are repeated.There are more studies on differences in gender characteristics.Cognitive development,parenting style,school education and social cultural are main factors of self-identity,the author also points out the problems and the future development trends of the research.
