Selection and improvement of culture for hydrogen producing bacteria

LM series cultures were proposed and it was determined through bacteria isolation and experimental growth that the reducer was L-cysteine and the value of pH was 6. The number and kinds of bacteria during LM-1culture batch culturing justified the use of LM-1culture for isolation of hydrogen producing fermentation bacteria. The same conclusion was drawn from the analysis of the culture's composition. 5 isolated stains of high hydrogen producing ferment bacteria were identified as belonging to 4 genera. Among these genera, Bacteroides and Klebsiella were not belonging to the familiar genus of isolated high hydrogen producing fermentation bacteria in the world. LM-1 culture was for isolation of high effective hydrogen production bacteria, and proved highly effective.
