A Graph Theory Method for Diagnostic Reasoningin the Concurrent Diagnostic Way

A graph theory model of the fault diagnosis problem for equipment is established in this pa- per. The model provides a method to solve the failure diagnosis for a logically divisible system by using graph theory. In the meantime, diagnostic reasoning in the concurrent way-approach is studied. In the sin- gle fault situation a method named the path information extremum diagnosis method is proposed. Calculation results show that the method is valid and effective.
