Experimental study of magnetized fuel and air of diesel engine for energy saving and soot suppressing

XIA Ping (Dept. of Agricultural Engineering, Anhui Agricultural University, Hefei 230036, China)
An experimental study of the power, economy and soot performance of diesel engine on a S195 diesel engine test bench was reported in this paper. Different magnetism intensities and magnetizing ways were used to magnetize fuel and air on the rating condition. The results indicated that the fuel consumption was slightly reduced and smoke level was improved apparently and the power was increased. The diesel engine showed optimal performance when the fuel and air were magnetized at the same time.
