Research on early cretaceous magmatic activity in the middle-southern segment of the Tan-Lu fault zone and its evolution

The geochronological data of mylonites,volcanic rocks and intrusions from the middle-southern segment of the Tan-Lu fault zone and the study results of the tectonic stress field and faulted-depression basin show that the Tan-Lu fault experienced a second sinistral strike-slip during the early cretaceous,which was then followed rapidly by extensional activities and large-scale magmatic eruption.Compared with inner North China Craton,the Tan-Lu fault zone has a long history of evolution and lithosphere thinning,which indicates that the fault has an internal,more extensive activities.Therefore,occurrence and activities of the fault zone played an inducing and promoting role in magmatic activities during lithosphere thinning.
