Comparison between two types of PI controllers in non-linear amplitude control algorithm

The driving system plays a very important role in the Coriolis mass flowmeter because its performance affects the measurement accuracy of the Coriolis mass flowmeter.The non-linear amplitude control algorithm is a good approach to control the driving gain.There are two kinds of PI controllers in this algorithm.One is the separate-type integral PI controller,and the other is the limiting-type integral PI controller.According to the time-varying parameter model of the Coriolis sensor,a simulation model is built up by Simulink modules based on the actual driver circuit in order to make a comparison between different controlling methods.The driver circuit is developed to drive the CNG050 type sensor,and the experimental data are used to verify the parameters of the simulation model.Simulink simulations are performed to study two kinds of PI controllers.The results show that the control effect of the limiting-type integral PI controller is better than that of the separate-type integral PI controller.
