An Investigation on Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Vertical Upward Waterwall of 600 WM Supercritical Pressure Boiler with Gas Tunnel Evaporator

The results of study on waterwalls's hydrodynamics of 600 MW supercricical unit's primary upward tube coils is expounded. Based on the calculation results, the appropriate orifice schemes and orifice dimention were discussed to abtain a satisfactory waterwall outlet vapor temperature distribution. The waterwall temperatures were also calculated to ensure the waterwall within a limited range at all the operation loads. On this base, the feasibitity of applying vertical tube coils to 600 MW supercritical sliding pressure once-through boiler is demonstrated.
