Research on Anaerobic Baffled Reactor in Treating Organic Phosphorous Pesticide Wastewater

An anaerobic baffled reactor(ABR)with an effective volume of 27.6L was used to treated pesticide intermediate methyl chloride waste water which had been pretreated.When COD Cr of the influent was 6421.5mg /L,HRT was 94h,the removal efficiency o f COD Cr reached 68%,which is close to the rem oval limit of anaerobic biodegradability(75%).The removal efficiency of the reactor reduced as the temperature decreased.When the temperature of the system dropped fr om 35℃to 25℃,COD Cr removal efficiency of the reactor re duced 12%.The reactor was of strong load shock resistance,and the overall recovery of t he system needed 20days.
