Development of Research on Adsorption of Heavy Metalions in Wastewater by White-Rot Fungi

JIN Ke, LI Xiao-ming, YANG Qi, LONG Wen-fang (Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Hunan University, Hunan 410082, China)  
In view of the current status of the treatment of wastewater containing heavy metals, the steps of the adsorption of heavy metalions by white-rot fungi and it′s main mechanism are described briefly, the method for the preparation of white-rot fungi adsorbent is introduced, the 6 main factors affecting the adsorption of heavy metalions by white-rot fungi are analyzed, and the current status of study of the adsorption of heavy metalions by white-rot fungi is discussed, with the prospect of its practical application forecasted.
