Treatment of Wastewater Containing Reactive Brilliant Red X-3B by Hydrolysis Acidification Pool-Membrane Bioreactor Process

The simulated wastewater containing reactive brilliant red X-3B was treated in a hydrolysis acidification pool and a membrane bioreactor.The effects of HRT on hydrolysis acidification,the whole process on wastewater treatment and sludge sedimentation performance on membrane fouling speed were investigated.The experimental results show that:For the hydrolysis acidification pool,when HRT is 16h,the biodegradability of wastewater is the best with 0.5 of ρ(VFA)/COD and when HRT is 17h,the chroma removal rate is 69% whereas the COD removal rate is less affected by HRT;The function of membrane bioreactor is to remove COD;After treated in the hydrolysis acidification pool and membrane bioreactor,the chroma and COD removal rate of the wastewater is 83% and 97% respsctively;The sedimentation performance of activated sludge in membrane bioreactor directly affects the speed of membrane fouling.
