Recycle of Spent Acidic Etchant for Printed Circuit Board

The hazards and treatment status of spent acidic etchant are summarized,and the processes for its recycle are generally introduced.Metal displacement process and neutralization-acidic dissolution process are simple and investment less.Self-neutralization process for preparing basic copper chloride from spent acidic etchant and spent basic etchant is economic and highly efficient,which is the optimum process for large printed circuit board manufacturers to recycle spent etchant.Electrolysis regeneration process can not only renew spent etchant,but also produce commercial copper,which is the preferred process for printed circuit board manufactures.
