Application of Corrosive Cell Process in Treatment of Printing and Dyeing Wastewater

The authors put forward that printing and dyeing wastewater can be treated bycorrosive cell process composed of iron filings and flue dust.The mechanism of the process isbased principally on electrochemical action and secondly on reductive degradation,adsorption,soa-gulation and so on. After treatment by the process,the effluent becomes clear,its COD canbe reduced to less than 100mg/L with more than 85%of removal efficiency,colourity lowerthan 50 times with more than 95%of decolourisation efficiency,and all indexes can meetthe national descharge standards.
