Thermodynamic Study of Adsorption of UDMH on Ion-exchange Fiber

The adsorption performance of self-made strong acidicion-exchange fiber(1EF)for unsymmetrical dimethyl hydrazine(UDMH) was investigated.The adsorption of UDMH on IEF within the temperature range of 287~(318 K) and the concentration range of 40~190 mg·L~(-1) accorded with the Langmuir-type and Freundlich-type isotherm equations.Equilibrium adsorption isotherms at different temperature and isosteric enthalpy of theadsorption of UDMH indicated that the process of adsorption of UDMH on IEF was an endothermic process.Estimations of the isosteric enthalpy of adsorption,free energy,and entropy of adsorption indicated that there was no chemical bond come into being,and the adsorption behavior was reasonably interpreted.
