Application of electrochemical technology in wastewater treatment

Gao Lixin(Dept. of Environmental Engineering,Shanghai Institute of Electric Power,Shanghai 200090)  
The basic principle and several typical applications of electrochemical technology in wastewater treatment were introduced,and the broad application advantages of this technology in the treatment of difficult degradable organic pollutants wastewater were pointed out. The main problems existing and prospective research trend were put forward.
