Molecular Imprinting Polymers for Chiral Separation of N-BOC-L-Trp

The molecularly imprinted polymeric microspheresins(MIPMs) were prepared successfully via a single-step swelling in aqueous system,using polystyrene(which was prepared by dispersion polymerization technique) as seeds,N-BOC-L-Trp as template molecule,acrylamide as a functional monomer,and ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate as a cross-linking agent.The results of adsorption text showed that the prepared MIPMs exhibited high adsorption and good specific selectivity for N-BOC-L-Trp.Baseline chiral separation of the template enantiomer was achieved quickly,when using the polymer as chromatogram stationary phase.
