Advances in Researches on Non-thermal Plasma Photocatalysis Technology for Air Polullants Control

As a novel technology, nonthermal plasmaphotocatalysis combines the advantage of nonthermal plasma with that of photocatalysis, and has a promising future in environmental protection. The recent researches are beginning to reveal its satisfactory performance in air pollutants control. The basic principles of the technology are introduced in this paper, and the researches on the removal of VOCs, NO_x, sterilization and deodorization are reviewed. Finally , further development of the technology is presented.
