Improvement of Synthesis Techics of Medical Intermediat 17α-Hydroxy-21-iodopregn Progesterone

17 α-hydroxy-21-iodine progesterone was synthesized using hydroxy-progesterone and an iodine chloride.The influence of the system solvent,the temperature and the ratio of raw materials on the outcome of the reaction was investigated.The best conditions was obtained: the reaction solvent was the water,the reaction temperature was 0~5 ℃,hydroxy-progesterone and iodine chloride was 1.0:1.0,the yield of crude more than 98 percent after refining.
