Progress and application of the in-situ SEM technique

Observation on the damaging process of the materials from mesoscopic or microscopic scale by in-situ SEM technique,is a valuable method for further study the main factors that influence on the mechanical properties of materials.Application of in-situ SEM technique and the related new techniques in the meso-damage mechanics of materials were reviewed.Some views on further development of the above experimental method using in mechanical properties study of materials were presented.
