Some Suggestions for Teaching Reform of Higher Mathematicsin Universities of Science and Technology

The development of high technology and information time puts forward some new demands for students' mathematics abilities. Higher mathematics teaching reform must be put into practice, but where does it go? This paper analyzes the actual problems in present higher mathematics taught in universities of science and technology. Then it absorbs some successful experience on this reform, and summarizes some accumulated experiences in teaching. In the end, it offers some suggestions for teaching reform of higher mathematics in universities of science and technology.
