Development of Computer Supervisory Control System on the Electric Furnace forCleaning Slag Based on Artificial Neural Networks and Its Application

Combining artificial neural networks with classical control technology,a computer supervisory control system with computer and analogue controller on the electric furnace for cleaning slag is developed.By means of multiplayer neural networks,the mathematical model of computing the optimum ratio of Fe/SiO2 is developed.The BP network is used to predict the chemical compositions of various products.The improved Hopfield network is used to optimize the charges,the data from Hopfield network are used to modify the control parameters of locale controllers that are used to control the furnaces.It shows there is a good result and a prominent benefits.
