Modeling and Analysis of Exponential Stability of Networked Control System with Packet Dropout

The method by which networked control systems(NCSs) with packet dropout could be modelled as asynchronous dynamical systems(ADSs) with rate constraints was studied.Four different state matrices were presented for NCS with packet dropout between sensor-controller node and controller-actuator node.Meanwhile,the NCSs with packet dropout,wherein the controllers were PID,output feedback and state feedback,were modelled as ADSs with rate constraints respectively.A sufficient condition for exponential stability of the system was pointed out,and a necessary condition for the use of the sufficient condition was proposed.Finally,an example of NCS with packet dropout is analyzed to prove the effectiveness of the theorem.
