Theoretical Analysis of Mooring Chain Disposition for a Float-Body

The equations of the restoring roll moment and yaw moment of a mooring system are derived theoretically.It is indicated that the restoring yaw moment is positive;the uncertainty of the value and direction of the restoring roll moment is analyzed.Two representative moored floating systems are studied,and calculation curves of the moments and the displacements of attachment points are presented.
