Calculation Method for Bending Strength of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Rectangular Cross Section

Based on the equivalent stress method, a new method for calculation of bending strength of reinforced concrete beams with rectangular cross section is presented, and corresponding formulas are derived. Compared with the current method, the present method has a wide scope of application, and can be used for the formulation of relevant standards.
