Immune particle swarm optimization algorithm and its application in reservoir operation optimization

The immune particle swarm optimization algorithm(IA-PSO),which was developed proposed by introducing the immune information processing mechanism into original particle swarm optimal algorithm(PSO),improves the ability of global optimization and convergence rate with its peculiar consistency selection mechanism and immunity inoculation.Based on analyses of the reservoir operation optimization model and the traits of IA-PSO,the mathematical model and the procedures for solving the optimized reservoir operation optimization by using IA-PSO were proposed in detail.A case study indicates that IA-PSO not only provides a more optimal reservoir operation optimization scheme,but also has a faster constringency rate than the traditional dynamic programming algorithms do.It will be a new and valid method for reservoir operation optimization.
