Influences of horizontal turbulent viscosity coefficient and moving boundary treatment on tidal current simulation

The tidal current fields with various horizontal turbulent viscosity coefficients were calculated using the measured data.The tidal current fields with the independent variation of three parameters of wetland properties in the moving boundary treatment technology were further simulated.On such a basis,influences of the turbulent viscosity coefficient and wetland properties on the velocity distribution and water level profile of the tidal currents were compared and analyzed.The rational values of parameters of the wetland properties are discussed.The test results indicate that the larger the turbulent viscosity coefficient,the more uniform the velocity distribution and the more water blocking action,and H3=0.01 should be selected as the upper limit in actual simulation while the other two parameters of the wetland properties should be chosen based on actual parameters such as the composition of bed material and topographical variation.
