A Torque Vibration Analysis of the Main Gearing System in the 1 420 mm Rolling Mill

On the basis of a case study on the imbalanced load of the top and below rollers on the 1 420 mm cold rolling mill group, the dynamic model of the main gearing system for the forth mill stand is established by means of simplification. The torque amplification coefficient is investigated to determine the maximum dynamic load of the main gearing system when a torque occurs. Meanwhile, the frequency and swing of torque vibration are explored as an attempt to ensure the rollers of superb dynamic and modulating properties.
