Monitoring the Deformation of Mining Areas Based on InSAR

Interferometric synthetic apertture radar(InSAR) is widely used in geosciences,marine geodesy,resource exploiting,calamity monitoring for its all weather and 24-hour continuous surveying capability and high spatial resolution.On the basis of a brief explanation to the principle of InSAR,we focus on the key techniques in monitoring the deformation of mining areas,including SAR image acquisition and selection,SAR Image registration algorithm,the elimination of the Effect of Flat Ground,phase unwrapping and the extraction of digital elevation model.Moreover,we predict its developmental tendency with examples of InSAR home and abroad provided.
