Studies on Mixotrophic Cultrivation of Wild-type Strain and Transgenic Anabaena sp.PCC7120

The effects of exogenous organic carbon compounds on mixotrophic cultivation of wild-type strain and transgenic Anabaena sp.PCC7120 were studies.The heterocystous,filamentous cyanobacterium has been transferred and expressed human tumor necrosis factor-α gene.The results showed that sucrose,glucose and maltose on mixotrophic all could better heighten cell growth rate and enhance the cyanobacterial biomass concentration;Glucose were found to be the best one.Also three initial sucrose concentrations(16mmol/L,26mmol/L and 36mmol/L)were investigated on mixotrophic cultivation,the results showed that they all promoted cell growth of both cyanobacterial cells,and 26mmol/L is the optimum.
